THE STORY_
Designing a logo for Yoyo's Bike was a challenge I immediately accepted.
Amandine came to me with a project she had originally envisioned with her husband. But they were unable to bring it to life together.
Strategy Meetings_
I was immediately drawn to this project. It combined an innovative concept with perfect timing, as cycling is currently enjoying a surge in popularity in Dubai.
The brand was also deeply emotional, adding another layer of significance to the work.
Once the logo was designed and the visual identity was taking shape, we needed to work together to create a cohesive look for the Instagram grid and find the best strategy to promote Yoyo's Bike and its services.
PRINTABLE MAP & COLLATERALS_
As part of the Yoyo's Bike experience, customers receive a printed map filled with local tips on where to grab a coffee or lemonade while cruising along the bike track.
I had a lot of fun designing it, paying attention to every detail and creating small icons to make the map not only easy to read but also fun and cool, in line with Yoyo's Bike's vibe and visual identity.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT_
Once we finalized the Instagram strategy, our next step was to create enough content to ensure Amandine always had images ready to publish.
We decided on several content categories, including presenting the services, designing a fun and engaging Q&A section, and showcasing the key spots along Dubai's bike track, among others.
We also developed a flexible posting schedule, allowing Amandine to follow a plan while leaving room for spontaneous posts and reposts.
LOGO & VISUAL IDENTITY_
Their idea was to offer a bike rental service in Dubai, with a unique twist, allowing clients to pick up and drop off bikes anywhere along the bike track, with maximum flexibility.
In her husband's memory, Amandine wanted the logo to capture who he was, reflecting his fun, hipster style, complete with his iconic beard in a happy and cool way.
